Life is not a story where we are all healthy and surrounded by our loved ones; life is often a sad story, in which the main heroes – children – are left in the shadows and affected by countless illnesses. That is why one of the projects through which we aim to help children, and which we wish to implement with your help, is dedicated to the “Orpheu” Educational Complex with Special Education, where children with disabilities are placed, particularly those suffering from autism. The director, Mr. Oleg Ababii, wholeheartedly wishes to establish within this Complex a sensory and music therapy center, which could greatly help children with autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and other neuropathies. The services of this center could also benefit other similar institutions in the Republic of Moldova. The creation of the sensory and music therapy center will provide support to children suffering from autism. This initiative will not only improve the quality of life for these children but could also offer a model of intervention to be adopted by other institutions in the Republic of Moldova. Collaboration with specialists in music therapy and the development of programs tailored to the needs of these children will be crucial to the project’s success. It is an important step toward integrating and supporting these children within the community. The realization of this project will provide the necessary assistance to children who fight every day to achieve better results because every person has the right to a beautiful life!
The center we envision will offer not only:

  • Music therapy (individual and group sessions to stimulate children’s emotional and social
    development);
  • Sensory activities (spaces equipped to stimulate the senses—sounds, lights, textures);
  • Skill development workshops (creative activities promoting motor and cognitive abilities);
  • Parental counseling (informative sessions on how to support children’s development at home);
  • Collaborations with specialists (meetings with psychologists, therapists, and specialized
    educators).

For the realization of this project, it is necessary to create a space dedicated to music therapy,
equip the center with sensory and musical equipment, and form a team of specialists to offer
therapy sessions.

For this reason, the “Orpheu” Educational Complex with Special Education needs the financial
